Vespa Segway

An Italian brand of scooter that is being manufactured by Piaggio, the name meaning wasp in Italian, it has evolved from a single model motor scooter manufactured in 1946 to a full line of scooters and one of seven companies today owned by Piaggio. Since their inauguration, Vespa scooters could be recognized for their painted, pressed steel uni-body which combines a complete cowling for the engine meant to protect the motor from dirt, a flat floorboard for foot protection, and a prominent front fairing for protection against the wind altogether into a structural unit.
And there is also the Segway: A two-wheeled, self-balancing, battery-powered electric vehicle invented by Dean Kamen. The name Segway is a homophone of the word segue, meaning smooth transition. The Segue is being driven by electric motors and can reach a speed of 20.1 km/h. A user commands it to go forward by shifting their weight forward on the platform, and backward by shifting their weight backward, for it is able to detect, as it balances, the change in its center of mass, and first establishes and then maintains a corresponding speed, forward or backward.

The designers from the Spanish design house Bel & Bel have given a serious thought to this subject and managed to create Vespa Segway. The product is called Zero Scooter, and is actually made of parts from the classic Vespa. The designers motto seams to be if you use a Segway, why not use it in style?
