Great interior design for chalet in France

The Avenue Lodge in Val d’Isere, France is a great ski chalet with an interior designed by Jean Philippe Nuel to ensure a luxurious stay in one of the best vacation spots in Europe with sufficient amenities to permit even those that don’t enjoy ski too much to have a great stay.

The chalet is on the main street of the village and at a distance of 200 meters from the Espace Killy slopes, allowing easy access to slopes on the Fornet massif or to the Grande Motte. There are 54 rooms available equipped with flat screen TVs and radio, complimentary Wi-Fi and an additional TV integrated in the bathroom.

The evenings have events like the ski instructors descending with torches down the Olympic black run with fireworks displays after and the interior gives access to a spa, sauna, covered swimming pool, hammam services as well as a large array of massage treatments from different places across the world and a Jacuzzi on the offer.

Outside space in a house in Canada

Located in Quebec, Canada and was designed in 2010 by the architectural practice of Kariouk Associates for a couple and their young son is the Hill-Maheux Cottage. Because this is a house of a couple with their son so it would act as a gathering space and vacation home until one day when it will become their primary residence. The programs inside were divided for a more private section on the upper level while the primary living areas and communal zones were located on the ground floor to extend to the outdoor living areas, sauna and the lakeshore. The master bedroom was also placed at the ground level so that accessibility wouldn’t be a problem.

The top level was clad in Western Red cedar wood to create a shelter for the guest sleeping areas and the bedroom of the son, while the ground floor is more oriented toward the landscape due to the floor to ceiling glass walls and sliding doors that make the forest a part of the interior design.

A bright apartment which is near Palm Springs, California

Located at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains in the Mesa neighborhood of Palm Springs, California is EL Portal, a bohemian chic villa with all the comforts of a modern home.
The large project has 3000 square feet of indoor living area and a gated ¼ acre lot offering great views of the Mountains toward the west and of the Coachella Valley while also ensuring protection and safety for the inhabitants.The gate opens to a large courtyard and there is a garage which can host two automobiles, while the left side of the courtyard offers an expansive green area. There is also a swimming pool patio integrated with the living area through large glass pivot doors to create the ideal setting for a party.

The Great Room has a double height and the clerestory windows allow abundant natural light inside with electric shades offering protection when needed. This area also includes a large gas fireplace and a flat screen TV above it. The Chef’s Kitchen is completely equipped with Viking appliances and there are four guest areas on the second level ensuring a perfect residence for a group of up to 8 persons.

Transforming a mid-century home into a contemporary space by the H3K Design studio

 The Laverne 2 is project created by the H3K Design studio to transform a mid-century home into a contemporary space which still evokes the charm of the 1950s and 60s in Palm Springs, California.

With the help of Howard Hawkes and Kevin Kemper who specialize in the renovation of Palm Springs homes, the Laverne 2 was revamped and the overall redesign took seven months. There are four bedrooms and three elegant bathrooms set in a home with a more open layout that was achieved through the rebuilding of some of the walls.

The cool and minimalist aesthetic is suitable for the warm climate and the designers wanted to embed some of the Palm Springs trends into the ambiance so the bathroom have a wall to wall niche in each shower to act as a signature element and there are custom welded steel beams integrated into the wall with cabinets that allow the kitchen island to float.
