Impressive Craiova Football stadium for the 1st Romanian Football League

The Craiova Football Stadium in Romania is a design replaced the existing “Ion Oblemenco” Stadium.
This stadium will have seats for 40000 spectators and its shape, especially the roof, is a tribute to the “Miss Pogany” sculpture created by Constantin Brancusi. The volume of the structure will attract attention during the daytime and through the architectural lighting it will become a beacon of light during the night time when it will be visible from the center of the town.
The stadium wished to achieve the UEFA IV category (the highest one) and it will host events from the 1st Romanian Football League, the UEFA Europe League, The Champions League and the National team matches.
The dimensions of the playing field are the standard 105mx68m and the surface will be natural grass with heating, irrigation, drainage and ventilation. There will be two levels of seating located close to the playing field to ensure optimum visibility and between the seats will be the VIP skyboxes.
The project uses sustainable materials and technologies such as photovoltaic cells, ground source heating and deep well water sources.

The renovation from Victorian two floor residence located in Dublin, Ireland

In 2014,  NOJI Architects had redesigned the Victorian two floor residence located in Dublin, Ireland. This work names the Scale of PLY.
NOJI Architects had improved the dark and damp layout of the original home with a more open ambiance that was better connected with the garden.
Spreading over a surface of 155 square meters, the redesigned home has the ground floor kitchen integrated with the dining space to maximize the view toward the south west while also permitting an extension of the interior with the garden.
The new plywood structure was made through a series of triangular plains that were interconnected to permit light to go through to the interior and bring an interplay of shadows with the passage of the sun. The plains have a plywood lattice structure supporting them and this material was chosen for its structural and economic properties as well as for its aesthetic qualities.

St Basil’s Cathedral: Stunning Architecture And Modern Romance

In the heart of Moscow’s Red Square, is one of the most impressive buildings in Europe. Unsurprisingly, the building is a religious one. Many religious buildings are rich with architectural wonders and details. The structure, which I am talking about, is St Basil's Cathedral. The Russians opened the cathedral way back in 1561, and since then the building has held center stage in the city.

St Basil's took six years to build

The cathedral took builders six years to complete. Experts believe that there were plans for the structure up to a decade before people begun to build it. As you can see, the building looks quite romantic against the backdrop of the Moscow skyline. Many people have commented on the unusual structure itself. The building has a lot in common with many traditional eastern buildings, and so looks bizarre to the rest of Europe. In fact, many buildings in Russia took on this style, and so the cathedral suits the city well.

The cathedral was a work in progress

When the officials opened the building back in the 1500's, it was not the magnificent thing that you can see today. In fact, the architectural structure looked quite dull with few colors and decorations. Over the 200 years following the building's opening, designers and builders continued to work on it. The wide variety of colors, which you can see right now, came as later additions to the building. Each year, different workers would add a new dimension to the building until it emerged as the glorious structure it is today.

Stalin wanted to destroy it

During WW2, Stalin had plans to destroy the cathedral. As it turned out, the building was in an inconvenient position for him. He wanted to march people right through the center of the city, and the structure was in the way of his plans. According to Russian legend, one architect stood in the way of Stalin. The passionate man stopped him from ruining what is now one of the country's beloved attractions. That in itself is lucky for the people of Moscow, who adore the cathedral.

Constant maintenance is essential

As with any old building, it is crucial that experts take their time to restore the structure continually. Over time, the foundations of any building become weaker and weaker. That means that there is always an ongoing project to keep the building safe. If you want to know more about foundations, visit belowground.co.uk where there are useful facts. Over the last 100 years, people have developed ingenious ways to take care of aging buildings. The new advancements in technology mean that people can restore structures.

The building has a secret staircase

Back in the 1970's, people found a massive surprise inside the cathedral. While they were working on the structure, they found that there was a hidden spiral staircase inside it. Now, the stairs are part of the attraction for many visitors, who want to come to see the spectacular building in all its glory. Experts have many theories about the hidden stairs, but no one knows the reason for this little gem. Old structures often have hidden rooms and staircases, and so experts are always pleased to find them.

Architects took inspiration from Jerusalem

Many experts believe that the building's architects took inspiration from Jerusalem. When the specialists were designing the building, experts believe, they incorporated lots of themes. One such theme was that of the birth of Christ, which is fitting for such an extravagant cathedral. People have commented that the style of the building mimics buildings in Jerusalem. Some people even think that the structure is a copy of an original building in the region.

Personal studio with timber structure of an Australian

The architect Max Pritchard created a personal studio for his practice in Australia with an interesting timber structure that was preferred instead of extending a heritage listed elevated steel and glass house that was 25 years old.

The garden structure spreads over two floors and has the shape of a tower with a circular shape covered in plywood sheets and hardwood battens on the jolts to express the timber frame of the building. The interior repeats the pine plywood and hardwood touches with an opening that offers a view of the tree tops nearby and sea in the distance for a very relaxing shelter.
The sloping site permits access to the studio through a timber deck bridge with a path leading to the house as a great vantage point. The interior has an overhanging roof tor shading with louvers that allow natural ventilation and a custom made work-table sits in the center.

Amazing future hotel design by the NL Architects

It is a work for the future designed by the NL Architects practice and will be built in several locations throughout the world. This hotel named the Amethyst Hotel, a luxurious and quite impressive project in the shape of an amethyst cathedral geode. The choice of an amethyst comes from its universal regard as an auspicious gem which is presumed to heal illness and bring good luck to the wearer. The first project will be located on the Ocean Flower Island in China which is itself artificial, so the setting couldn’t be better, especially when considering the reverence for the gem in the country.
The rooms are placed in the center of the tower with quartz-like glass for a view with a purple tint and a panoramic perspective that allows abundant natural light inside. The interior was designed in a minimalist style to contrast the vibrant exterior and the void lights begin to glow during nighttime for a dazzling effect.

Staying warm in Roswell GA

The weather in Roswell GA is like most other areas of the US that enjoy all four seasons; however, in the majority of cases the area only has a few short months that the temperatures dip to freezing. The month offering the lowest average low is January, but February is a close second. The temperatures start cooling down in October with an average low of 45 degrees Fahrenheit and by this time you are ready to turn on your heating system.

It is a good idea to have your heating system checked in September so you will not have to worry about turning on your heater to learn that it is broken. There are a few things you should do twice per year to ensure that your air and heating systems are ready for the heat in June or the cold in October. Learning how to maintain your heating system may ensure that you do not have a huge heating repair bill and have to figure out how to stay warm until the repairman can make it to your home.

In the spring and autumn of every year you should check your heating and air system. Check to ensure that the pilot light is lit and that is does not have any buildup or that there is no draft that may blow out the light.

Check the area around the heating unit for dirt and dust. The heater closet should be vacuumed and ensure that you are not storing any type of flammable material as this could cause a fire. Remember the dirt around the unit can also be blown into your home which will not be good for anyone’s health.

Your filter should be replaced once per month to ensure the air quality in your home is healthy. Another reason is to ensure that your heat and air unit is not working harder than it should to heat and cool your home. When your heat and air unit have to work extra hard you are actually burning energy that you not want to use while putting wear and tear on the unit.

The motor on your heater should be oiled every year in the autumn as well while the exterior of the air conditioner should be vacuumed in the spring to ensure that debris is not clogging the filtering system.

The flue can be checked in the autumn as well for any damage, dents or debris. Along with this ensure that you check the vents and registers for dirt and dust that will stop the air from flowing properly. Staying warm in Roswell GA is not a problem at all as long as you maintain your heating unit. Just by ensuring the system is clean and there are no worn parts you will never have to come home after going to the movies to learn that your heater is not working.
