1. Make two paths: If you have a large enough space to put the two sofas in the living room, make two different paths that can be accessed by guests making it easier for guests to move to another room as a dining room or kitchen. Two lanes is good access for everyone in order not to run into each other and blocking the way to the room each other.
2. Use a distance of 18 inches. A distance of 18 inches is the right distance to separate each furniture (between the sofa and the table, or sofa and chairs) so that guests will be more comfortable passing between two furniture.

The Flamingo Group is a leading global insight and strategic consultancy company and they commissioned the Neri&Hu architectural practice to transform an industrial roof space into their new headquarters in Shanghai.
The project has several shapes that resemble housing units placed into the landscape with concrete platforms to break the minimalism of the volume and the roof has more than a single vantage point so that it can be seen from multiple levels.
a hidden room set between several larger ones to provide a reflection haven for the employees.
The aesthetic approach started from Gaston Bachelard’s idea that the house is a dwelling for the psyche with the cellar acting as its subconscious and the attic being the rational ego. The rooms were divided through one-way mirrors with different glass types to create a slight discomfort since you can become the observer or the one who is seen, so that a complex system of voyeurism defines the entire office space.

Designer Rene Dekker had been in collaboration with the restaurateur Martin Williams to bring a setting that offers a large array of dishes for design of the M Restaurant located on Threadneedle Walk in London, UK.
The interior is elegant and sophisticated without appearing pretentious and the designer described it as “A boutique hotel without any rooms or a private members club with no members.” There are two main areas on the ground floor with bespoke bronze screens representing the logo of the restaurant. The left side contains the M Grill with strong teal tones with wool tweeds for a really festive setting.
The scale of each element was carefully considered to allow a double height ceiling on the ground floor while also offering an intimate atmosphere for smaller gatherings through the niches for banquette seating and decorative lighting oriented only toward the tables for a cozy ambiance. The designer combined rich colors with a high level of details to make sure each area of the 12000 square meter space is unique and interesting.

The project which studied in contrast between rough and polished surface old and new parts and light with darkness interplays named the Night and Day Penthouse located in the Bermondsey district of London, UK.
This is the design of Daniel Hopwood architectural practice for a young American. The bachelor pad was created as an ideal party setting with resilient materials and finishes. The living area has an open layout and features floor to ceiling windows for an overview of the city with a large sofa in the center and a cozy atmosphere enriched through the addition of several accent pillows for more texture.
There wasn’t much need for storage areas so the bookshelves allowed more flavor and the living area continues with the dining room which takes elements from different parts with a custom made table made of reclaimed wood and a polished steel ceiling to reflect it as well as antique French armchairs and Bertoia side chairs.

The Avenue Lodge in Val d’Isere, France is a great ski chalet with an interior designed by Jean Philippe Nuel to ensure a luxurious stay in one of the best vacation spots in Europe with sufficient amenities to permit even those that don’t enjoy ski too much to have a great stay.
The chalet is on the main street of the village and at a distance of 200 meters from the Espace Killy slopes, allowing easy access to slopes on the Fornet massif or to the Grande Motte. There are 54 rooms available equipped with flat screen TVs and radio, complimentary Wi-Fi and an additional TV integrated in the bathroom.
The evenings have events like the ski instructors descending with torches down the Olympic black run with fireworks displays after and the interior gives access to a spa, sauna, covered swimming pool, hammam services as well as a large array of massage treatments from different places across the world and a Jacuzzi on the offer.

Mistakes to Avoid When Remodelling Your Kitchen

Any remodelling project requires a great deal of planning, a firm budget, and careful attention to the details of the work that’s to be done. If your home is outdated and in need of upgrades to make it more comfortable and convenient, you should consider beginning with the kitchen where you probably spend a great deal of your time. You’ll notice during any family gathering or celebrations that many of your guests end up standing in the kitchen area where they feel comfortable and can enjoy themselves and others. As you begin your planning for remodelling your kitchen, let’s take a look at some of the mistakes to avoid in the process so that you’ll be completely satisfied with the end results.
- Remember that the refrigerator, stove, and sink create an imaginary work triangle that makes everything that you do in the kitchen convenient; it’s important to keep this area unobstructed so that access can be attained easily.
- You want to retain all of the storage space that you can so that your designer kitchen will appear clutter-free and organised to the maximum. You can have shelving installed about your sink area if no window is present and you can use the area beneath the sink to hold shelving or drawers that hold all of your cleaning supplies. Having cabinetry installed above the refrigerator is an excellent place to keep snacks or other quick foods.
- You should not limit the amount of worktop space that is available in your kitchen; remember that this is the area where you prepare food and beverages for your family and friends. If your kitchen currently doesn’t have enough work space, think about adding an island where you can also find more storage space underneath the workspace on top.
- Don’t skimp on lighting for your kitchen; lighting helps you to work in a safe environment and can add a touch of beauty to your overall design. Be sure to include accent lighting, task lighting, and some overall lighting to cover the areas in which you work and eat. Pendants may work beautifully over the island that you just added; remember that the more lighting you have the more you can accent the special architectural touches that you have in your kitchen.
- Don’t leave out the backsplash at your sink area. If you use wallpaper or simply have drywall behind the sink, the moisture will soon cause the wallpaper to shrink and become unattractive. Adding a backsplash will also carry out your design element in an attractive and functional manner.
- Don’t avoid asking for help. Remodelling your kitchen is a big project and the local suppliers and professionals can offer you their expertise as you select the design elements that make your kitchen more modern. Many of them have software programs that can bring your ideas to life so that you can make changes before the work actually begins.
Avoiding mistakes as you begin your kitchen remodelling project will save you a great deal of time, money and effort, and will make the entire project much more enjoyable.
